Die Wanderung bietet \u00fcppige H\u00e4nge am Fu\u00df und einen kurzen, felsigen Aufstieg am Gipfel. Esja (914 Meter) bietet eine Aussicht \u00fcber die gesamte Hauptstadtregion und einen Gro\u00dfteil des S\u00fcdwestens Islands.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Eine weitere Option ist Glymur; die zweith\u00f6chste Wasserfallkulisse Islands und definitiv eine der malerischsten. Glymur ist f\u00fcr die meisten Besucher unerreichbar. Selbst einige Einheimische haben noch nie davon geh\u00f6rt. Das liegt daran, dass sie am Ende eines langen Fjords liegt und eine (sehr angenehme und interessante) Wanderung erfordert. Sie werden froh sein, dass Sie die M\u00fche getrieben haben!<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Haifoss, was \u201ehoher Wasserfall\u201c bedeutet, trug fr\u00fcher die Krone von Glymur als zweitgr\u00f6\u00dfter Wasserfall.<a href=\"https:\/\/arcticshorex.com\/de\/waterfalls-iceland-cruise\/\">H\u00f6chster Wasserfall in Island<\/a>. Doch moderne Messmethoden haben die Strecke inzwischen auf den vierten Platz zur\u00fcckversetzt. Trotzdem ist sie eine der beeindruckendsten Schluchten des Landes und bietet einen Blick auf den Vulkan Hekla. Die Wanderung f\u00fchrt auch an dem Granni-Wasserfall vorbei, der direkt nebenan liegt. Eine Reise nach S\u00fcden, um den Haifoss zu erkunden, ist eine weitere gro\u00dfartige Idee f\u00fcr eine Tageswanderung aus Reykjav\u00edk.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Akureyri<\/strong><br \/>Der See Myvatn ist eines der Juwelen Nordislands und bietet einige spektakul\u00e4re Wanderungen. Au\u00dferdem gibt es so viel zu Fu\u00df zu erleben, dass Besucher mit dem Auto das Ganze verpassen. Besuchen Sie Leirknjukur, eine aktive Vulkaninsel im Krafla-Lavfeld, die surrealen Krater von Skutustadagigar und den \u2018perfekten\u2019 Krater des Vulkans Hverfell. Dies allein macht einen Besuch wert, aber seine Lage am Rande der imposanten Isl\u00e4ndischen Hochebene macht es zu einem unvergesslichen Tag f\u00fcr jeden Wanderer.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Verpassen Sie nicht den J\u00f6kulsargljufur-Kanal \u2013 eine imposante Kathedrale aus Felsformationen, die von einem heftigen Gletscherfluss geformt wurde und den n\u00f6rdlichsten Teil des Nationalparks Vatnaj\u00f6kull bildet. Mit 998 Metern ist es buchst\u00e4blich der Gipfel der Westfjorde. Eine der besten ist <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vestfjardaleidin.is\/en\/moya\/travel-vest\/place\/latrabjarg\">Latrabjarg-Vogelklippen<\/a>. Latrabjarg ist der westlichste Punkt Europas und die l\u00e4ngste und am st\u00e4rksten frequentierte Brutplattform Islands f\u00fcr viele Meeresvogelarten. An seinem h\u00f6chsten Punkt erhebt sich der Fels fast eine halbe Kilometer unterhalb des st\u00fcrzenden Nordatlantiks.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Grundarfjordur<\/strong><br \/>Zwischen den St\u00e4dten Grundarfjordur und Stykkisholmur liegt der Lavastreifen Berserkjahraun; ein gro\u00dfartiger Ort f\u00fcr eine Wanderung in Island auf einer Kreuzfahrt. Ein faszinierendes St\u00fcck geologische Geologie, erst vor 4.000 Jahren entstanden, verf\u00fcgt der Lavastreifen zudem \u00fcber eine reiche menschliche Geschichte und ist der Ort eines blutigen Kapitels in den Sagas der Isl\u00e4nder. Zwei schwedische \u2018berserkers\u2019 wurden in die Gegend gebracht, so besagen die Sagas, und einer verliebte sich in die Tochter des \u00f6rtlichen Bauern. Der unzufriedene Bauer stimmte nur zu, seine Tochter zu heiraten, wenn die Schweden einen Weg durch den Lavastreifen schaffen k\u00f6nnten \u2013 ein Werk, das er fest daran glaubte, unm\u00f6glich zu sein. Die Berserkers gelangten jedoch trotz aller Widrigkeiten durch.
