There are a variety of options to choose from including the Dettifoss waterfall, the Nature Baths and hiking in the area.\r\n\r\nThe Troll peninsula to the North West is part of the Arctic Coast Way. With towering mountains, charming fishing villages and remote islands; this region offers more of an off the beaten path experience.\r\n\r\nThe town of Akureyri itself has several architectural sites, interesting museums and the world\u2019s northernmost botanical gardens.
