Travel through the peaceful countryside of East Iceland as we follow the Jökuldalur Valley and stop to see the beautiful Rjúkandi Waterfall.
From there, we continue to Stuðlagil Canyon, one of Iceland’s largest basalt formations and a true highlight for photographers and nature lovers alike.
After exploring the canyon, we’ll end the day at Vök Baths, where you can soak in the warm geothermal waters with views over Lake Urriðavatn.
This full-day tour combines sightseeing and relaxation, giving you a memorable experience of East Iceland’s natural beauty.

The hike to Stuðlagil Canyon is primarily on a flat, gravel path, but there are two small inclines/declines along the way that may be challenging for some travelers. The walk to the canyon is 2,5km each way, so 5km in total.
There are no meal options available along the way, so be sure to bring a lunch pack with you.
