Your adventure begins at Godafoss, the “Waterfall of the Gods”. Glacial meltwater sweeps across a broad, curved ledge before dropping into the river below, making it a beautiful first stop.

From there, the route leads to Hverfjall, a vast volcanic explosion crater. A moderate climb takes you to its rim, where the views stretch over surrounding lava fields and steaming geothermal areas.

The journey continues to Dettifoss, the most powerful waterfall in Europe. Stand close to the edge and you can feel the ground tremble as the water thunders into the canyon. It is easily one of the highlights of the day.
