    A propos de l'excursion

See the “Capital of the North” from a completely fresh perspective on this immersive 2-hour water adventure.
Perfect for seasoned kayakers and curious beginners alike, this tour teams you up with a buddy in a stable tandem kayak to explore Akureyri right from the ocean.

As you paddle along the dramatic coastline, your local guide will share fascinating insights into the region’s history and the diverse wildlife that calls these waters home.
The undisputed highlight of the journey is gliding right up to—and beneath—a stunning coastal waterfall fed by natural geothermal water.
Depending on the day’s conditions, the adventure doesn’t stop at the shoreline; we’ll park the kayaks and take a short hike up to the geothermal river that feeds the falls. There, you can cap off your paddle by jumping directly into the warm, soothing natural springs for an authentic Icelandic soak.

It is the perfect blend of active exploration, education, and pure relaxation.

    – Be open minded (we cannot control the wildlife or the weather)
