Enjoy the 1.5 hour drive to Borgarfjordur Eystri over mountain passes, along towering cliffs and with views of the fjords and coast. In Borgarfjordyr Eystri, join a RIB boar tour to observe the amazing Atlantic puffin in their natural habitat as they dart and drive through the waters. In addition to puffins, you’ll also have the chance to observe other seabirds, seals, dolphins and even whales. Every tour is a unique experience.

Please Note

This adventure is designed for cruise ship passengers in Seyðisfjörður.
The drive from Seyðisfjörður to the Puffin Captial is about 1.5 hours
Keep in mind that we usually gather 4-12 passengers into groups. The puffins arrive at the beginning of May and stay until mid-August.
During this time, they come to Iceland to breed and raise their young.

What to bring:
Warm clothes are always a good option when traveling in Iceland, however, we’ll provide you with ski googles, a warm, windproof and photogenic flotation suite and a dependable life jacket, giving you the very desirable action figure look.
